Congressional Races
Republican candidates are Gregory Coll, Neil Parrott and Charles Anthony

MEET GREGORY COLL

I’m Gregory Coll, the Republican candidate for Maryland's 8th congressional district. As a businessman, rocket scientist, family man married with three children, I’m the right choice to join the better team for American Progress. My priorities include healthcare services, strong military, and pro-life agenda.
The radical left wants to take away your religious freedoms, basic second amendment rights, and fund abortions with millions in taxpayer dollars!

My opponent recently mocked those who had objections to the COVID restrictions that have been placed on our churches and religious schools. As your congressman I would tirelessly defend your freedom to practice your religion.

The Democratic fringe is doing everything it can to deny our law-abiding citizens their rights to keep and bear arms. In this time when cities are plagued by violence, mayhem, arson, and looting, they tell the police to stand down. They continuously reject federal aid to alleviate the violence and destruction. Now members of the radical left are suing to try to close the doors of the National Rifle Association forever. They want to take away our Right-to-Carry permits, our guns locked in our safes, and our freedom under the Second Amendment. I want to restore law and order and defend your second amendment rights.

The radical left wants to force you, a taxpayer, to fund abortions, and fund organizations whose purpose is to conduct as many abortions as possible. But turn a blind eye when it comes to offering alternative or preventing unwanted pregnancies. This is not how I want to see our tax dollars spent.

It isn't too late, I am asking for a donation to help educate the voters of the 8th Congressional District on these issues and help me get elected to Congress on November 3rd. Please donate now and let the entrenched Maryland Democrats know that the silent majority is not going anywhere!

MEET THE NEXT CONGRESSMAN FROM MARYLAND’S 6TH CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT - NEIL PARROTT

Neil Parrott for US CongressNeil Parrott currently is the Republican who is running for US Congress in Maryland’s 6th Congressional District which represents Western Maryland and Western Montgomery County.

Neil currently is serving his third term in the Maryland State House of Delegates, who has always held the line on reckless spending.  Neil is also the Chairman of MDPetitions.com which revolutionized the Maryland petition process and took three bad bills to the referendum, so that the people could decide.

Neil is a true friend of the Taxpayers, he has enthusiastically taken the “No, New Taxes Pledge” put out by Americans for Tax Reform a Non-partisan think tank.   Neil will be a true friend to the Taxpayers standing up crazy Washington Spending.  Governor Bob Ehrlich has said “Neil has proven himself a tireless advocate for taxpayers and small businesses. We need people like Neil in Washington, D.C., to reign in reckless spending, to lower taxes, and to exercise fiscal responsibility.”

Neil’s Priorities

  • Neil will work to fully repeal Obama Care and replace it with a commonsense market-based solution.
  • Supports Opportunity Zones which lower business taxes to help communities like Brunswick, Frederick, Hagerstown, Cumberland, Gaithersburg, and large parts of Garrett County.
  • Votes to fully defund Planned Parenthood; the nation’s largest abortion provider should not receive state or federal taxpayer dollars.
  • Promote business-friendly legislation to help America be productive.
  • Eliminate costly & unnecessary regulations & licensing requirements.
  • Build the wall and enforce illegal immigration laws.

In addition, Neil is a Lifelong Marylander, pro-life advocate, and a proven supporter of traditional family values. Believes in the founding principles of our country: Lower Taxes, Limited Government, and Individual Responsibility. He lives in Hagerstown with his wife of 14 years, April, and their 3 children, Patience, Charity, and Neilson.  Neil by profession is a Civil Engineer and has been a long-time advocate on commonsense transportation solutions, as we say here at the Montgomery County Republican Club, Congress needs more are Engineers.   Engineers are natural problem solvers, and if there was ever a time when Congress needed problem solvers in Congress, this is it NOW!

MEET CHARLES ANTHONY

CANDIDATE US CONGRESS MARYLAND - 3
Charles Anthony for Congress MD-3

Charles Anthony for Congress MD-3

Charles Anthony was born in Point Pleasant, West Virginia in 1953 and lived there until 1965 when his family moved to the Huntington, West Virginia area. He attended Marshall University and received his teaching degree in Social Studies and History in 1975 and received his Commission as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Medical Service Corps. That was the beginning of his Health Care Administration career, and since then, he has not looked back. He retired from the Army Reserves in 1998 as a Lieutenant Colonel and retired as a Federal Employee from Walter Reed Army Medical Center in 2009 as an Assistant Administrator for the Department of Surgery. He was a graduate of the Command and General Staff College and his graduate work was in Healthcare Administration.

As a retired civilian Federal Employee and as a retired Army Lt. Colonel whose specialty was running hospitals, Charles Anthony knows that there are a lot of problems in medicine today. However, he has also seen many great advancements that have been made. America's health care delivery system is a mess and is too expensive, but our health care is second to none!

We want to make sure that we have the best healthcare in the world, but that it is also affordable. The opioid epidemic killed more people last year in America than died in Vietnam in 14 years. Much of this comes back to pharmaceutical manufacturers.

Join Charles Anthony as we reform medicine so that it is focused on a high quality of life while also making it affordable!

Vote In-person or By Mail

Polling places in Montgomery County will be at every High School (except Edison) and will be open on Election Day, November 3, 2020. Early voting centers will be open October 26-November 3. In addition, every eligible voter will be sent an absentee ballot application.

Voting by absentee ballot is the method that allows you to avoid possible exposure to COVID-19 and long lines resulting from a severe shortage of election workers and polling places. It's your decision to make.

Indeed, there’s no need to wait, even if you haven't yet received your application in the mail you can submit an application for your mail-in/absentee ballot now. Get your application for a mail-in/absentee ballot one of the following ways:

  1. Online: Access the online application here. You must have a Maryland driver’s license or other MVA issued card to apply online. The online process is also used for voter registration so by using it you will make sure your voter registration is correct. The online application can also be accessed by texting VBM to 77788.
  2. By Mail: Print out the form in English or Spanish, fill it out, and return by mail, email, fax or in person to the Board of Elections.
  3. By Phone: Call the Montgomery County Board of Elections, 240-777-8550

On your application, when answering “How do you want to receive your ballot?” please check “in the mail” (if using online application) or "U.S. MAIL" (if using paper application). If you choose any other option you will print your ballot at home on paper that is not recognized by the ballot-scanning equipment, requiring extra work by the Board of Elections to transfer your selections to a paper ballot the scanner will recognize.

There will be plenty of Official Board of Elections Drop Boxes in which you can cast your vote. You don't have to rely on the US Mail if you don't want to.

Finally, if you are healthy and willing to work as an election judge contact the Board of Elections now as there is a critical shortage of available election workers.

TO BE SAFE AND AVOID LONG LINES YOU MAY VOTE BY ABSENTEE BALLOT  For more official information click here.

WHERE TO VOTE THIS YEAR

Because of the Governor's order and the COVID 19 pandemic both the number of election workers and polling places in 2020 is sharply curtailed. Even though you are used to voting at a nearby polling place or precinct that is all changing for this election. Following is the complete list of voting centers for the 2020 General Election.
